Today we learned several methods of note-making, such as mind map and Cornell note-making method. I think a correct and appropriate note-making can improve our reading efficiency and quality. Taking notes can help us summarize the main points and key words of the article effectively, and review the content and understand the key points more quickly.

In class, we did the practice of writing key words, and summarized only depend on key words without the original text. To my surprise, the summary sorted out by key words is the main meaning of the article, there is just have not explanation or case. This concise summary allows us to remember the main idea of the text, because we have to read a lot of articles, it is impossible to remember the details of each article. I think it’s a good way to make some notes while reading, which can help us understand and remember the main idea of the text more quickly.
